Go for the Gold! Four Rockbridge County Wineries Medal at 2026 Virginia Governor's Cup
Rockbridge County wines have pulled in shiny hardware for years, and 2026 is no exception, especially at the Virginia Governor's Cup.
This year, four area wineries brought home 11 medals - four gold, six silver, and one bronze. The wineries producing the gold medal-winning vintages now wait to learn if their wine is in the top 12, which would land their bottle in the Governor's Cup Case. The number one wine overall takes home the Virginia Governor's Cup.

- Silver: 2021 Borderland
- Rockbridge Vineyard | Raphine
- Gold: 2019 DeChiel Reserve Meritage, 2021 DeChiel Reserve Cabernet Franc, 2022 DeChiel Reserve Chardonnay
- Silver: 2022 Chardonnay, 2023 Blanc de Noirs Rose
