Glen Maury Park

Glen Maury Park is Buena Vista's 315-acre recreational retreat with the Maury River flowing along its eastern boundary. The park offers forested camping, river-side camping, pavilions for picnics and entertainment, playgrounds, disc golf, an Olympic-size pool, and more than eight miles of trails. Kayaks, tubes, and bicycles are available for rent.

The multi-purpose pavilion adjacent to the lower campground area is the primary venue for music festivals and other major events.

Camping at Glen Maury Park
Choose your preferred campsite: river, field, or woods. Will it be full service or primitive? You have choices at Glen Maury Park.
All sites are first-come, first-served.
Full hook-up sites (water, electric, and sewer) are available in the upper campground. Electric is both 30- and 50-amp.
Rates range from $40 to $60 per night, depending on your preferences.
Special Rates:
- Appalachian Trail Hikers: $5/night
- Passport America Members: $20/night
- Seniors aged 62 and up receive a $1 discount
- Monthly camping is available during the off-season for $500/month
Trails at Glen Maury Park
Thirteen trails with distances of .09 to 2.5 miles zig-zag across Glen Maury Park. Foxtrot Trail is a Kids in Parks TRACK Trail. Pick up a brochure at the trailhead to keep your kiddos engaged with the environment around them.
