RARO aspires to be an outstanding educational-athletic organization that provides a high-quality experience to every participant. A high-quality experience is one in which every participant:
* Is coached using principles which promote the growth of self-esteem and skill development while stressing fair-play and good sportsmanship
* Has fun at practices and games
* Feels like an important part of the team regardless of performance
* Learns " life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field

Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital (CRBH) is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering inpatient and outpatient care as well as outreach activities. On-site are 24/7 emergency services, imaging and lab diagnostics, rehabilitation, and other outpatient services.

Walkabout Outfitter was shaped by other small, friendly outfitters along the Appalachian Trail, plus the notion that the great outdoors aren't for hard-core enthusiasts alone. The team at Walkabout believes that through-hikers and urban walkers alike will enjoy their in-store experience. Folks are encouraged to ask staff about their favorite hikes, gear, and tips for great outdoor experiences.

Nestled on the bank of the Maury River, Glen Maury Park is Buena Vista’s 315-acre playground, featuring miles of hiking and biking trails as well as a boat and kayak launches. You’ll also find several playgrounds for the kids.
Friends of the Chessie Trail
The Friends of the Chessie Trail is a network of groups and individuals interested in maintaining and promoting the health of the Trail and its surroundings. The Friends of the Chessie Trail also serves to inform members and the public of work being done on the Trail under the stewardship of Virginia Military Institute and to foster good relationships between Trail users and the neighbors of the Trail.
Friends of Natural Bridge State Park
The Friends of Natural Bridge State Park apply their individual interests and skills in a variety of ways to support the park. Whether it's clearing a new hiking trail or volunteering at events like Kids Fishing Day, there is always something fun and exciting happening in the organization.
