Send the year out with a bang when you plan to attend a New Year's Eve party on December 31. Then, start the new year off right with an excursion into the great outdoors.
New Year's Eve
Before the evening celebrations, head out for some daytime toasts at Ecco Adesso Vineyards, Rockbridge Vineyard & Brewery, and The Palms— all are offering special beverages. Rockbridge is hosting Porch Dogs for live music and is open from noon until 5 p.m. Ecco Adesso welcomes you from noon until 6 p.m. with their fire pits, s'mores, and tasty mulled wine. The Palms will be serving specialty cocktails until 11 p.m. NYE and offering "build your own" Bloody Marys on New Years Day.
Haywood's at The Georges is a hot spot for this year's New Year's Eve celebrations! Book your dinner seating based on your course. The four-course dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m. and the six-course is from 8 to 10 p.m. Enjoy live jazz while you dine. Reservations are required. Please call 540-463-2508 or book here.

Starting at 9:00 p.m. The Patton Room comes alive with live music by Party Crasher Band. It's a prime spot to have fun prior to the Ball Drop on Main Street at midnight. Your ticket for The Patton Room includes hors d'oeuvres and desserts; enjoy the cash bar at your leisure. Get tickets.
Celebrate until 2 a.m. at TAPS with champagne cocktails. It's a great place to enjoy a drink after the Ball Drop on Main Street.

Find yourself at The Gin Hotel & Juniper Lounge for the New Year's Eve Party & Ball Drop. An overnight stay includes tickets to the party inside, but outside on Main Street, everyone is invited to gather for the ball drop.
At Natural Bridge Historic Hotel & Conference Center, the New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball will feature D.J. Jack Carter. Fill up on hors d'oeuvres and enjoy a midnight champagne toast. New Year's Day
Natural Bridge State Park is hosting First Day Hikes on January 1. It's an excellent time to see the iconic limestone arch and #GetOutside in Rockbridge County.
