2024 Community Festival of Nativities: Christmas Concert

Event Description

Join us for the much-anticipated return of the Community Nativity Festival and Christmas concert! Immerse yourself in the magic of the season as hundreds of crèche scenes from around the globe come to life. Each unique nativity, lovingly donated by community members, beautifully showcases the rich tapestry of traditions and stories that define this cherished holiday.

This year, the exhibit will feature the stunning original crèche executed by Virginia sculptor Lawrence R. Bechtel. This original piece is a unique and enchanting work of art.

Additionally, a digital presentation of nativity scenes by renowned artists will run concurrently, telling the story of the birth of Christ.

The event will culminate on Sunday, December 8, at 6 pm with a Christmas concert celebrating the music of the season, featuring community musicians.
