Chill on the Hill, Celebrating 35 Years of Habitat Community Service

Event Description

In celebration of our 35th year of service to local income-stressed families, Rockbridge Area Habitat for Humanity (RAHfH) will host its annual Chill on the Hill “friend raiser” at Great Valley Farm Brewery & Winery on Sunday, September 29, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM.

An annual event celebrating all those who have partnered with RAHfH to eliminate substandard housing in Rockbridge County while fostering community strength, stability, and self reliance, this year’s Chill on the Hill will feature live music by Koty and Lewane and food by First Due BBQ.

Raffle prizes for this year’s event feature the following:

• First prize: Art work by award-winning local artist Ryan Russell.

• Second prize: Gift certificates to RAHfH ReStores in Buena Vista and Lexington.

• Third prize: RAHfH logoed active wear pullover.

Attendees can purchase $20 meal tickets on site for use at either vendor’s food truck . Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered by Great Valley Farm Brewery & Winery. A percentage of all food and beverage sales will go towards supporting Rockbridge Area Habitat’s affordable housing mission.
