On February 8, it's your "for one night only" opportunity to see Sophocles's "Antigone" at Lenfest Center for the Performing Arts. Presented by American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, "Antigone" is a 411 BC play by Sophocles that portrays Antigone, one of drama's very first heroines.

Also February 8 (as well as February 9, 14, 15, and 16) is "The Spitfire Grill" presented by Southern Virginia University. It's a story about a town that finds its heart through Hannah, owner of Spitfire Grill.
February 19 kicks off a four-month-long series by Rockbridge Historical Society. Don't miss this special showing of "The Color of War" highlighting "the experience of African-American soldiers serving in France, along with social divisions on the homefront still marked by Jim Crow, and the drive for Women's Suffrage." The showing will be held at Rockbridge Regional Library on Main Street in Lexington.
