Event Description
Rockbridge Outdoors Fest is a free, family-friendly outdoor recreation festival held at Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista. The festival showcases the outdoor recreation opportunities available throughout the Rockbridge area through hands-on activities, demonstrations, vendors, food, music and other family-friendly programming.
A major component of the 2027 festival will be all-day water activities on the Maury River, which runs through Glen Maury Park, offered by the Rockbridge Area Recreational Organization. Activities will include opportunities such as fishing and kayaking. Additional programming is expected to include archery, outdoor camping and cooking demonstrations from Walkabout Outfitter, yoga led by Center of Gravity Yoga, and much more.
The festival is designed to introduce both residents and visitors to the area's outdoor recreation resources while encouraging them to explore and spend time in Buena Vista and the broader Rockbridge area.
