Handbuilding Ceramic Camp with Courtney Jarvis

Monday through Thursday each week:

Camp 1: June 22-June 25 
8-11 yr. olds starts at 9AM until 11AM
12-15 yr. olds starts at 1PM until 3PM

Camp 2: June 29-July 2
8-11 yr. olds starts at 9AM until 11AM
12-15 yr. olds starts at 1PM until 3PM

These two separate handbuilding classes at The Workshop at Timber Ridge are designed for children ages 8-11 and 12-15 who are interested in exploring ceramics. Students will be introduced to working with clay through various handbuilding techniques and processes. Through playful material exploration, students will create functional ceramics and sculptural artworks with pinch, coil and slab techniques. Along with forming, different decorating techniques will be used like stamping, carving, glazing, and brushwork.

Price includes the use of basic tools, clay and firing. Students will complete several projects to be able to take home by the end of the session.
