MARCH 2026 -- MSN.com created a roundup of 13 Virginia roadside stops that become their own day trip. Natural Bridge State Park features its 215-foot namesake, the limestone Natural Bridge, but the park is more than that. Following Cedar Creek Trail beyond the towering landmark unveils Salt Peter Cave and Lace Falls, while other trails highlight the views from higher elevations and lead to the Thistle Ridge Nature Trail Disc Golf Course.
