Back to the Future: KG Motel
SEPTEMBER 2026 -- Garden & Gun has a first look at a revamped roadside motel bringing the retro vibes back to Lexington, Virginia. The KG Motel is the new name for the one-time Keydet-General Motel, a motor court built in 1962. The punchy colors and funky throwbacks are a joy for the senses, and unexpected delights await, like BuddyLou's, a 1959 Shasta camper-turned-bar.
