Description

Conquer as many of the 14 routes up as you are able. Most routes can be top roped.


Driving Directions

From the Lexington Visitor Center, drive west on Washington Street to a right onto Main Street (US-11 Business). Continue driving north on US-11 for approximately two miles. Turn left onto VA-39 W/ Maury River Road. You will arrive at Goshen Pass after 11.7 miles. The swinging bridge is approximately 1.7 miles past the picnic wayside. Just past the 55 mph speed limit sign, turn right onto a gravel road. A parking area with a map and informational sign is available.

Cross the swinging bridge and follow the path to the right, Goshen Pass Trail, along the riverbank. Follow the white blazes for a quarter-mile until you reach the approach trail on the left.

  • Raise a glass in celebration when you visit one of our wineries. Backtrack your route on Maury River Road for 7.83 miles and turn left on Brownsburg Turnpike (Route 252). Enjoy the charm of historic Brownsburg and stop by the museum.
  • Drive seven miles north and turn right onto Raphine Road (route 606) and continue 3.65 miles to Hillview Road where you’ll find Rockbridge Vineyard & Brewery. Sample homemade, award-winning Virginia wine and perhaps take home a bottle or two. Tap your toes to live music on select Sundays.
