Join us for the spectacular sight of 20 hot air balloons as they take to the air over beautiful Rockbridge County. The 2024 Balloons Over Rockbridge Hot Air Balloon and Music Festival will be held Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th with balloon flights at 6am and 6pm both days (weather permitting). These flights, launching from the Oak Hill Property of the Virginia Horse Center, showcase breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and rivers. Tethered rides are available from 4-7pm for a taste of the hot air ballooning experience. Relax as you sit back and enjoy an afternoon and evening filled with live music from popular, regional bands. The music begins at 2pm and will include sounds of country, rock and blues. Food vendors will be offering a wide array of foods and treats. Merchandise, beverage tents, and a special kid’s zone with games round out the festivities. Don't miss the culminating event when the stunning Ed McDaniel Memorial balloon glow illuminates the night.
