The Old Brownsburg Store B&B—The Wardlaw House's guest house built in 1815—is located centrally in Historic Brownsburg and sits alongside an old stagecoach road. The building has been tastefully restored, balancing ‘maintaining the original character and charm’ while modernizing the infrastructure.

Amenities include living room, laundry, 2 dining areas (inside and outdoor patio), pool table, front/back porches, BBQ station, lawn games, and a hand-carved totem-pole! Guests may enjoy a simple breakfast with items provided by the host (coffee, tea, breakfast bars, bread, small pre-packaged pancake mixes, eggs, packaged proteins like sausage) or prepare full meals in the gourmet kitchen.

Guests may also enjoy a vintage 208-year-old wine cellar—reminiscent of a 1920 Speakeasy—with a wine jail, fireplace, and dining area for up to 10 guests.

The Wardlaw House, a beautiful large brick house with the wrap-around porch, was originally built by Robert Wardlaw in 1760 and sold later to the Trotter family. The old guest house later housed three General Stores operated by the Whipples, Supingers, and Swopes, as well as Bud Wade’s barbershop and pool room in the back room. Most recently it housed Old South Antiques for about 30 years. Guests are encouraged to stop in the Post Office and say “Hello” to Bob, our Post Master. Send a postcard stamped ‘Brownsburg’ to an old friend or family member as part of your experience!
