Museums at Washington & Lee University: University Chapel

A center of campus gatherings since its dedication in 1868, University Chapel houses a 500-seat auditorium, museum, the Lee Family mausoleum, gravesite of Traveller (Lee's horse), and Lee's office as university president.

Hours of Operations: Wednesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The chapel will be closed for renovations beginning October 4 and will remain closed until spring 2026.
