Akhal-Teke Foundation
Dedicated to conservation breeding and Akhal-Teke breed education, the non-profit national Akhal-Teke Center in Lexington, Virgina is a cornerstone of the Akhal-Teke Foundation strategy for preservation of these legendary and endangered horses.
Located with the generous donation of long term substantial use of a beautiful 800 farm in the Blue Ridge foothills, and supported by public contributions, the Akhal-Teke Center serves breed preservation directly, with active, selected reproduction of resident and leased purebred mares and stallions.
This national center also provides a vital facility for hands-on Akhal-Teke training and education, and a soft landing place for Akhal-Teke horse rescues.
