Discovering Place through Watercolor

Date
September 20, 2026
Time (Duration)
12:00pm (4h)

Event Description

Spend a leisurely afternoon exploring your connection with the natural world, your own intuitive creativity, and a sense of ritual through an art-making process. We will take a mindful walk around the land of Timber Ridge, collecting and foraging inspirations for our art pieces, and then learn a wet-on-dry watercolor painting practice within the Studio space. There will be plenty of time to relax and notice your surroundings, while cultivating a sense of care and reciprocity with the seasonal world outside.

All materials will be provided, and all levels of watercolor experience are welcome, including absolute beginners. Bring your own lunch or snack; drinks and a few treats will be provided. This workshop is especially for you if you'd like to lean into a felt sense of connection with the natural world, through art-making and supportive collective care.
