Event Description
The Rockbridge Regional Fair & Expo is an annual multi-day event that celebrates Rockbridge County’s small-town charm and community spirit.
This year's theme, "Stars and Stripes Over Carnival Lights," celebrates America's 250th anniversary while honoring the agricultural traditions and community spirit that have made county fairs a cherished part of rural Virginia for generations.
Held at Virginia Horse Center, highlights include Midway rides, 4H/FFA livestock shows, interactive exhibits, a collaborative farmers market, quilt show, and an expo featuring food preservation, art, and traditional skills.
New and returning attractions include a Mechanical Bull Riding Competition, Open Mic Night featuring local musicians, an '80s-themed evening of music and fun, and performances by Danny and Lindsay Grant with the Cowboy & Cowgirl Circus. Throughout the fair, visitors can also enjoy the “Quilts in the Country” Quilt Show, highlighting the craftsmanship and creativity of talented quilters from across the region. Saturday morning features a Farmers Market and FFA Toy Show, adding even more opportunities to celebrate local artisans, agriculture, and community.
Admission: Free; Midway armbands $25, all ages. There may be some ticketed events.
The Rockbridge Regional Fair & Expo is made possible through the dedication of volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, and community partners. The 2026 fair is proudly presented by The Village of Kerrs Creek.
