It's the 25th Anniversary of the Great American Trail & Ranch Horse Sale!

This is exactly what you think it is: a sale of horses. And some of those amazing beasts bring hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even if you're not in the market to purchase one, they're worth seeing.

Thursday: Preview the Horses at 2:30 p.m. - each will demonstrate their skills and then return to the arena for a "meet and greet".

Friday at 11:30 a.m.: Hear from an expert about considerations prospective buyers should take into account when buying a horse for the family.

Friday at 2:30 p.m.: Watch a competition between all of the sale horses to see how they perform ranch duties, including boxing and roping cows. This competition does include awards, prize money, and a trophy saddle, so it's the real deal.

Friday at 6:30 p.m.: The Trail Competition begins and will include eight obstacles for each sale horse. The top 10 will compete in the finals Saturday morning.

Saturday is SALE DAY!
