Bob Hopkins is organizing this parade and is trying to get the word out to all local Veterans. Seeking participation from all veterans who served in the active, reserve, or National Guard ... in peacetime or war.
Form up for the parade on the road off Main Street that leads into the Oak Grove Cemetery at 10 am on the day of the parade, Nov. 11th, 2025.
Parking will be available next to the cemetery on Randolph Street in the parking lots of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church and the Lauderdale Presbyterian Church.
Hopefully, weather permitting, the parade will include a Jet flyover down Main Street. Great participation from the local schools, over 650 children will walk in the parade, and 50-60 will sing patriotic songs at the ceremony at the Veterans' Memorial on Main Street following the parade.
Mark Cline, dressed as "Uncle Sam" will lead off the parade.
