Wheel Throwing Ceramics Class at The Workshop at Timber Ridge

Event Description

Basic wheel classes are for learning the process of throwing pots on an electric wheel. From wedging clay, centering, pulling walls, shaping, trimming, to decorating and glazing, you will gradually develop the skills you need to make food-safe pottery you can use.

PRICE: Price includes first 25lb. bag of clay, glazes, use of basic tools and firing. Additional clay can be purchased.

CLASSES: An 8-week series on Wednesday evenings. Classes are small so each student will get plenty of personal attention.

LOCATION: The Workshop at Timber Ridge, located 10-15 minutes outside of downtown Lexington in North Rockbridge County.
