Lexington is a SKI Vacation
Yes, you read that right.
"SKI vacation" and Lexington are in the same conversation because SKI doesn't refer to the sport of skiing, but is an acronym. SKI stands for Spend the Kids Inheritance. Reporting for CHCH-TV in Ontario, Canada, Kathy Buckworth pointed to Booking.com research, which indicated 42% of grandparents would contribute to a trip of a lifetime versus saving it for their kids inheritance. Such travel would be multi-generational or even "skipgen" in nature, the latter being a grandparent/grandchild trip.
Buckworth herself enjoyed an adventure through the Shenandoah Valley and into Southwest Virginia as one of her two "Great Grandkid Getaways".
Among her stops were Natural Bridge State Park, The Gin Hotel, and a horse-drawn carriage tour with Lexington Carriage Company in downtown Lexington.
