Event Description
Free to attend. Registration for each event individually is required via the online Museum Store.
Journey through the stories that shaped America at the Jackson House Museum every Tuesday afternoon in June at 2 p.m.
From early settlers to the Underground Railroad, the Jackson House’s America’s 250th Story Hour will explore a different chapter of American history each week through captivating storytelling led by costumed interpreters.
Designed primarily for children ages 10 and under, this interactive program encourages kids to discover how every story — big or small — shapes the American story we share today. Along with engaging historical tales, each child will receive a special take-home booklet to tell their story.
We ask parents to stay on site during the program. Parents can stay for the story or enjoy the opportunity to explore our site.
Space is limited. Register today to secure your spot!
