WALK and TALK Fall 2019 Series: “LIVING LIGHTLY”
Join us at the Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Garden for our 4th season of Walk and Talk workshops where we gain skills to Walk our Talk. Guest experts will share their successes and facilitate new skill-building workshops related to this season’s theme: “Living Lightly on the Earth …and for the Earth”.
Local author Lisa Connors will lead this workshop that goes beyond our favorite butterfly, the monarch. Learn how butterflies overwinter and what you can do to help their populations. We will be making seed balls with milkweed seed and clay to toss into your backyard habitat.
Tuesday October 1st ~ 5:30 – 7:00 pm
Please e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call (540-463-2697) to register for an event.
Each program is limited to 20 participants. We will start from the Boxerwood Lodge (963 Ross Road) just outside Lexington.
Parking is free for members of Boxerwood and $5/car for non-members.
Programs are free, but suggested free-will donation for each program is $10/person to support maintenance of Boxerwood’s gardens.
