We invite you to stay with us at the Hummingbird Inn in Goshen. Fond of history ourselves, we'll help you plan your day trips to historical sites around the county. (After your country breakfast in our dining room, you might not need to stop for lunch!) In the evening, return to relax on our verandas, or down on the deck overlooking Mill Creek. We'll be happy to share the history of our 1853 Victorian carpenter gothic villa, which began as a trading post in 1780. You can even sleep in the room where Eleanor Roosevelt stayed in 1935, and possibly awaken to a passing train, just as Eleanor might have. Stay any three nights, and we'll treat you to a horse-drawn carriage ride around historic Lexington (in season).
